Smell the Roses
The Gratitude Collection
Even before you infuse Smell the Roses, you’re taken away to a luxurious, exotic garden with glimpses of red rose petals and green cardamom popping out from the Sencha green tea buds.
So, make sure you’ve got your magic carpet ready for when you infuse 1 teaspoon in 80-85 degree hot water for 2-3 minutes.
Wave goodbye to your office desk or homely sofa. The smell transports you away first. A rich, decadent, floral scent that’s headily perfumed invokes Persian, Indian and Japanese magnificence.
Take time. Take a sip, smell the roses and feel the decadence.
For a cold brew, leave in cold water overnight in the fridge.
Organic green tea (Sencha)
Red rose petals
Sencha green tea is made from the youngest, freshest, sun-worshiping leaves of the Camellia Sinensis green tea bush. After picking, the leaves are steamed to prevent oxidation (oxidised Sencha tea becomes Oolong tea). Green tea has a delicious, fresh leaf taste and is recognised for having many health benefits.
Red rose petals give a natural sweetness to tea. The red colour is made by polyphenols - naturally occurring antioxidants that can help protect our body against stress.
Cardamom is the Queen of Spices and commonly used in traditional medicines and cooking. We mainly find cardamom used in curries and Chai. Cardamom is known for helping settle stomach cramps and pain that may be associated with stress.
